During setting up the HW/SW environment I faced some problems which I described in a step by step guide. It may be useful to others, so I'm sending it hereby along with the patches I applied. I wanted to make this available many weeks earlier but internal non-technical issues prevented me from it. See the summary below for the SW/HW versions I used. Currently I'm working on the 2.6 OMAP fbdev code and would like to submit it to here in the near future. I would appreciate any comments or questions you may have. 1.
